This licence is required to tow a trailer exceeding 750 kgsmaximum permitted weight behind a PCV D vehicle.
Drivers who hold both a PCV D licence and a LGV C+E licence automatically get a PCV D+E.
A full PCV D licence is required before training can start on a PCV D+E vehicle.
